Dreamland

Weird drum machines, ethereal pads, dub bass, overdriven guitars, and vintage keyboards sit alongside soft, echo-drenched vocals and fingerpicked acoustic guitar; a texture that is at once warm and glacial, human and artificial.

One minute into the opening track, “Venus and Mars,” it becomes clear that Dreamland exists somewhere else entirely: a tenderness and melancholy that feel otherworldly yet somehow close to home at the same time.
An escape from the grayness of things, to a place where colors must still exist, however faded.
